Barcelona DJ/producer Javier Orduña came of age in the ’80s amid the groundbreaking sounds of Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys and Joy Division. Discovering the emerging musical hotbed of Detroit eventually put him on a path to explore techno and contribute tenfold to the genre.
With releases on Visionquest, ViVA Music and Moda Black (his Diablitos EP collaboration with Upercent issued this summer is particularly noteworthy), his recent Fool Again EP on Jeudi Records finds him going further down the rabbit hole with four dreamy, brooding offerings where his musical past and present coalesce.
