London duo Leftwing & Kody are on a mission to take house music to the next level. And so far they’re kicking butt! Having established quite a reputation for themselves through issuing highly impressive dance floor tracks on Off, Exploited, Anjunadeep and Alive, the secret to their success is their keen ability to infuse elements of UK garage into their pumping tracks. This month they released a rousing remix of Todd Terry’s classic jam “Bounce to the Beat” and recently issued the Into the Deep sample pack for the folks over at Loopmasters. Ahead of a busy summer filled with DJ gigs, we caught up with the guys and asked them which artists are in heavy rotation in their world.

Anja Schneider’s 5 Artists of the Moment on SoundCloud

Berlin’s Anja Schneider is about to take on Ibiza in a big way. In preparation of a gig-filled season on the White Isle, Schneider released her Dubmission EP, a collection of deep tracks influenced by the sounds in Berlin’s club scene that made an indelible mark on her musical psyche in the ’90s club . Now’s she’s about to embark on one of her most ambitious summers to date behind the decks. Not only will her mobilee label present a free bi-weekly pool party residency on Mondays between July 14 and September 22 at Santos Coast Club, but she also will bring her killer grooves to choice parties including Solomun +1, Marco Carola’s Music On and El Row at Space . She will also debut of Anja Schneider’s Mobilee Pool radio show on Ibiza Sonica every second Monday from 2-3pm on Ibiza Sonica Radio. We caught up with the very busy Schneider and asked her to share her five favorite artists of the moment.

Anja Schneider’s Dubmission EP is out out now. Schneider plays Solomun +1 at Pacha Ibiza on June 8 and Mobilee & Sebo K´s Scenario at Bloc in Barcelona on June 11.

Parisian record label/clothing line Kitsuné is getting ready to drop America 3, a new entry in their America compilation series known for identifying buzzworthy talent just before they bubble up to the surface. Their latest 14-track installment features the likes of Heartsrevolution, Jerome LOL and Brenmar and doesn’t disappoint. With music at the core of everything they over at Kitsuné, we asked Jerry Bouthier — a close friend of Kitsuné/popular London-via-Paris groove merchant in his own right — to share his five favorite artists of the moment on SoundCloud. A DJ since she was 15, Brazilian tech-house/techno sensation DJ Anna‘s career has been gaining global momentum over the past year or so. Anna’s track “Six Figures” recently received a blessing from Carl Cox on the legend’s Global Radio show, and her interpretation of Pleasurekraft & Format B’s “Sexus” and assorted other remixes has solidified the São Paulo decknician as an artist to watch in 2014. Before embarking on a two-month summer tour of Europe — which includes launching her debut Ibiza residency at Blue Marlin on June 27— we caught up with Anna and asked her to share her five favorite artists of the moment on SoundCloud.
