2017 Rewind: Rebeca Trêsor

Rebeca-Tresor

How was 2017 for you?
Rebeca Trêsor: 2017 was a year full of changes and new projects. Facing my solo career and developing my facet as a producer have been the most important ones.

Highlights?
Being lucky enough to enjoy this last season in Ibiza as part of Blue Marlin and Hard Rock’s family.

Lowlights?
Luckily I think that everything helps and all changes are for good.

Song of the year?
A song that has been lately in all my sessions is “At Night” by D-Unity and Drunken Kong.

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
Keep on learning and progressing in the production field.

2017 Rewind: Oscar L

Oscar L

How was 2017 for you?
Oscar L: 2017 was a good year with good gigs in new countries and my first release on Truesoul. I can say it was a positive year!

Highlights?
My goal for the year was my release on Truesoul,. I have been working a lot to sign it there because is one of my fave labels and finally I did! The whole EP was on the charts amazing

Lowlights?
A couple of places where I prefer not to come back to play!

Song of the year?
Uff! It’s not easy. Patrice Bäumel’s “Sorcery” (Original Mix)

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
I want to keep working even more hard if it’s posible, trying to do best person and trying to see only the important things, not only the business. 🙂

2017 Rewind: Gonçalo

How was 2017 for you?
Gonçalo: The best “profesional” year of my life, with lots of great club shows and festivals, and the confirmation of DreamBeach as one of the best festivals in Europe. I will definitely remember 2017 for a long time.

Highlights?
I had several, but playing at Tomorrowland Belgium was without any doubt the most important highlight of the year.

Lowlights?
Lowlights are necessary to make highlights more special, but you should clean them from your mind as soon as you learn from them.

Song of the year?
There was a lot of good music in 2017, but Isolée’s “Pisco” released on Maeve was one of my favorite records.

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
Get back to the studio and work on new EPs. It’s my main priority for 2018.

@Gonçalo

2017 Rewind: Flashmob

Vitali Gelwich Flashmob

How was 2017 for you?
Flashmob: Was a really interesting and intense one. Many things have changed in my project, and I am now ready with a new flow of music for the next season.

Highlights?
Certainy my release on Toolroom but now I have Snatch! in December then Kompakt in January with a collaboration with Terranova, and then Hot Creation in the new year … plus three remixes that I am really proud of: one for DJ Hell on Gigolo, one for Romanthony on Glasgow Underground, and one for Marshall Jefferson as Sleezy D on Freakin’909.

Lowlights?
I’d rather not talk of my personal life but I was out of the game for four months this year for some really serious personal stuff. Life is life and we all have to deal with it and move on … happy to say I have now moved on. 🙂

Song of the year?
Bollen & Fichtner’s “Better Call Paul”

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
To eat less dark chocolate
