MoMA PS1’s Warm Up Party to Return in August

PS1WarmUp

For more than two decades, MoMA PS1’s Warmup Party has been an important part of summertime in New York City. Not only are the Saturday afternoon parties well-curated to feature established and rising DJs and acts, but the crowds are also always thoroughly enthusiastic.

After having to hit the pause button last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MoMA PS1’s Warmup has announced its return for a trio of parties, taking place online and in-person on August 7, 14, and 21.

The line-up features DJ sets and live performances by Amorphous, Yung Baby Tate, Yu Su, glaive and ericdoa, Sango, foreigner, La Goony Chonga and more.

According to organizers, capacity will be limited. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test is required for entry. Full lineups can be found below.

Warm Up 2021 will be performed from Rashid Johnson’s Stage, “a participatory installation and sound work that draws on the history of the microphone as a tool for protest and public oratory.”

Tickets are $18. Entry is free for residents of Long Island City.
