UK techno hero Luke Slater will release Side Effects — his second album produced under his housier L.B.Dub Corp alias — on May 18 via his Mote-Evolver label.

Slater’s influential three-decade discography includes releasing tracks on Mute Records, Ostgut Ton, and Peacefrog Records under his own name and aliases such as Planetary Assault Systems since the early ’90s. He previously released L.B.Dub Corp’s debut album in 2013.

Obligatory press release gush about the album: “I wrote the tracks over the last year between being on the road as P.A.S. and playing a few L.B.Dub Corp house sets, which naturally evolved into Side Effects almost accidentally.”
