Dutch DJ duo Vicetone — Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool — took to Twitter early Saturday morning, claiming they were handcuffed and dragged off state after telling partygoers during their set at a University of Alabama frat party to “put yo’ hands up.”

The Dutch duo, who were dressed in a hospital gown drinking 4 Loko, followed up the tweet at 1:15 a.m. Saturday by saying, “Obviously got released cause I did nothing wrong – also huge shoutout to University of Alabama for throwing down tonight.”

The tweets were subsequently deleted from the twosome’s account.

A University of Alabama police officer told People that neither Den Boer nor Pool were arrested, but said officers were called to the party for “crowd control.”

In a statement, the university said, “According to campus officials, the party continued past the designated curfew. As the music was turned off and party was being shut down because of the curfew violation, the DJs interfered and began to incite the crowd.

“To ensure safety and assist the officers, one of the DJs was briefly restrained and taken off stage while the crowd was being dispersed. They were not arrested. The incident had nothing to do with what the DJ said, only that he interfered with the process of ending the party.”
