Last September techno hero Carl Cox bid a fond adiós to Club Space in Ibiza after 15 amazing years as a resident DJ. He did so with a marathon 10-hour farewell set that is still being talked about. After hinting that he would return to the White Isle, Cox made good on his promise and announced in January that he would take the helm of a limited run of shows under the Pure Carl Cox moniker from July 11 to July 18 at Club Privilege (which, incidentally, is the biggest club in the world).
For those in Ibiza during that week, Cox has connected once again with the folks from Float Your Boat and will be headlining a run of boat parties departing from San Antonio. The soirees will serve as a pre-party on waves for his gigs at Privilege.
FYB resident DJs Jason Bye, Andy Baxter and Clara Da Costa will be manning the decks. While the promoters haven’t released the names of any other support talent, last year FYB’s parties featured world-class names including Fatboy Slim, Jon Rundell, Josh Wink, Yousef, Lisa Lashes and DJ Sneak so you know they’ve got a few surprises up their sleeves.
