Carl Cox took top honors in the categories of Techno and International DJ at the 17th installment of DJ Awards held at Pacha in Ibiza on September 22.
This year’s edition was divided into 11 categories, with the organizers adding two new categories (Breakthrough and Electronica) and 12 Special Industry Awards.
Patrick Topping snagged two awards in the Newcomer and Track of the Season categories, while Disclosure won for Electronic Live Performance.
Innervisions received Record Label of the Year, with co-founder Dixon accepting the award, and Native Instruments took home the Cutting Edge award.
To coincide with the ceremony, the organization’s annual double CD compilation has been released on D:Vision Records featuring tracks by Hercules and Love Affair, Chaim, Gusgus, Agoria and Claptone.
