After months of hype and speculation, Giuseppe Cipriani’s new Ibiza club, Booom!, will open its doors on July 9. “I am looking forward to a summer of great music, wonderful artists and the energy of this terrific island. We put a lot of love in this project and I hope people will feel it!” said Cipriani in a statement. Booom! partner and music programmer, formerly of Pacha, Danny Whittle added, “It has been such a pleasure for myself, Mark and our team to work with Giuseppe on Booom! It’s been a long road but now we are so ready for a summer of great music, company and fun.”
The club has announced its residencies and should attract large crowds: Eject with Cazzette and guests (Monday); Chaos Colores with Behrouz, Tom King and guests (Tuesday); Sexy by Nature with Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano (Wednesday); Circus with Yousef and guests (Thursday); TBC (Friday); Defected in the House (Saturday); and Vagabundos with Luciano and guests (Sunday).
While Booom! will cater to big spenders, they maintain that “the club positions itself as a premium, top-level venue but is not an exclusive, VIP-only club: only 30% of its full capacity will be allocated to tables. The emphasis will remain on the dance floor.”
