Thanks to our world premiere of Joseki‘s “Come On,” which is culled from his upcoming Erotic Sessions EP, today should be renamed Great Friday.
The venerable New York City house master, a veteran DJ/producer whose work has been released on choice labels such as Defected, Desolat, Kling Klong and Suara, returns to the Poker Flat camp with a smashing effort.
“Come On” is deep, techy insanity. The track is deliciously dark, the bass is uncompromisingly slow and heavy, and one wonders if the speeding car sound effects are samples of Joeski racing along the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in the wee hours of the morning.
No matter how you slice it “Come On” is as an intense boil as they come.
