Championing a sound informed by dark wave and electronic soul, Asheville, NC’s RBTS WIN — Javier Bolea and Cliff B. Worsham — have been exploring sample-based psych-pop together since 2008. Their accomplishments are numerous: They’ve played hometown mega-festival Moogfest three times, gigged with Toro y Moi, Future Islands, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Mount Kimbie, Tanlines, MillionYoung and Otto Von Schirach, and self-released their expansive Palm Sunday Deluxe Edition album in May.
Last week RBTS WIN issued Palm Sunday – The Remixes, a compendium featuring re-rubs from Blue Sky Black Death, Al Lover, Marley Carroll, Boy In Sleep, Kentsoundz, Color Collage and Luzius Stone.
