Frankyeffe 5 Tracks of the Moment

Frankyeffe

Known for consistently forging hard-hitting releases for labels such as Truesoul, Octopus, Phobiq and Analytic Trail, Italian techno troubadour Francesco Fava (a.k.a. Frankyeffe) unleashed “Skin” featuring German DJ and label collaborator BRUNA this week on his Riot Recordings imprint.

The kinetic peak-hour single arrives after the release of his Rave Alarm EP that dropped in April on Misfit Music.

We connected with Fava and asked him to share his five favorite tracks of the moment.

Frankyeffe – Skin (Riot)

This is my new track, which I made last summer. I heard BRUNA’s voice on another track and immediately wanted to work with her. I asked her if she wanted to do a spoken one for my song that I had just finished. The result thrilled me and knew I had to release it. I’m excited to get it out there.

Librae – Submarine (Raindrop)

New project, new label. I like the melodies and grooves. I can’t wait to play it in a DJ set because I think this track can give people a lot of emotions.

Subradeon – The Light (Hardgroove)

I love this special track out on the Hardgroove label. Ben Sims the Italian duo Subradeon did a great job. [It’s] perfect music for my ears. Congrats, guys. I hope to play soon this track in front of people!

Heerhorst – Take You Higher (Riot)

Massive track. “Take You Higher” is climbing the Beatport chart. The rave bass and arp bass are the essential elements. This track has the ability to get you out of your chair and start dancing. It’s a great work out on Riot.

Sam Paganini – Far Away (Jam)

Incredible album from Sam. The sound of this concept album is awesome. In “Far Away” the electronic elements, acoustics and mood of the track remind me of Pink Floyd. I love this work!
