How was 2018 for you?
Grant Eadie: Really good, full of personal changes. First time in my life I’ve taken the proper time to make my music and it’s resulted in what I think is the best stuff I’ve ever made.
Highlights?
Getting my little studio in Portland. Having a space separate from my home completely changed my routine and mindset toward working on music. Also Summer Meltdown — probably the sweetest show I’ve played in a long time, so much amazing energy.
Lowlights?
Throwing out a ton of music I once thought was good but had come to realize I deeply hated. Traveling 18 hours and staying up all night to play a festival in California, only to not get paid.
Song of the year?
Chrome Sparks – O, My Perfection
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
Quit going to the gym, smoke more, stress about everything.
