Tennan 5 Tracks of the Moment

Tennan

With a string of top-notch releases on labels including Moon Harbour, 20/20 Vision, Repopulate Mars, Sanity and VIVa LTD to his credit, emerging UK house and techno explorer Tennan (a.k.a. George Georgiadis) elevates his game with his brand-new endeavor — the soulful, party-perfect Keep My Beat EP.  The four-tracker out now on Mar-T’s tech-house imprint Wow! Recordings shows a few more sides of the upstart’s musical personality and boasts a crafty remix by Amnesia’s CAAL.

Though Tennan made news in 2017 when he accused Mihalis Safras of sampling a part from a demo he sent him, he’s clearly focused on what’s most important — progressing as an artist, making high-quality music for the dance floor and spreading positive vibes.

We checked in with the up-and-comer and asked him to share his five tracks of the moment.

1. Rui-Z – Satisfaction (Original Mix)

Hands down one of my favorite producers at the moment. Rui-Z’s productions never disappoint and “Satisfaction” is another great example of his fresh sound and solid mixing abilities. Fat groovy basslines combined with plastic sounding shuffling drums, rhythmic effects and filtered vocals make this a killer track!

2. wAFF – Bondage (Original Mix)

Currently one of my favorite DJs and most versatile producers, wAFF has been releasing banger after banger and ‘Bondage’ is yet another great example of his insane productions. Analog sounding drums combined with razor cut hi-hats, techno-ish basslines, hypnotic synths and repetitive vocal effects make this a proper banger!

3. Black Girl / White Girl – Skinny Fries (Original Mix)

BG / WG have been phenomenal and their productions are always on point. Fat drums, rolling hi-hats, groovy percussion and monotonous synths make “Skinny Fries” yet another beat-based groover!

4. Leon & Oscar L – Faking Fingers (Original Mix)

“Faking Fingers” is a massive roller by Leon & Oscar L, and I am so proud to have done the remix for them. Rolling beats, techno-ish basslines and percussion along with the iconic “bad guy” vocal sample from Scarface make this a massive heater.

5. Groove Armada – House!

This is a wicked tune by Groove Armada. Proper house-y vibes as the title suggests, groovy beats and bass lines, melodic synths, percussive stabs and the iconic “house” vocal sample make this a sexy track!
