How was 2017 for you?
Robin Ordell: 2017 has been a great year. All in all, the busiest so far and I guess that’s a good thing. Got to see loads of new places and play for super crowds. Met a lot of people along the way, too. I’ve also been working closely with Lamache on the development of Discobar, and we’re excited about the outcome. There’s a lot of good music coming. Half Baked has been going great too and we’ve had some banging events, The last date being the Halloween party with tINI — the atmosphere was incredible. I feel terribly lucky to be part of this.
Highlights?
A few gigs really stood out but Closer in Kiev, RED58 in Barcelona and Veniceberg in Verona were definite highlights.
Lowlights?
Airport delays
Song of the year?
There is too much good music coming out to name just one in my opinion. A track I really enjoyed this year would be the last DJ Sotofett on BORFT.
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
I just quit smoking (a little in advance).
