How was 2017 for you?
Andre Crom: I spent a lot of time in the studio and evolved further on my way to becoming an authentic techno DJ/producer. It feels like my long process of musical change is consolidating now and I’m really finding my own voice, which is also being recognized by the artists in my style that I’d like to be associated with.
Highlights?
The recent release of my debut EP on Sleaze Records. The feedback and DJ support are truly amazing, a huge and diverse range of techno artists are playing tracks from it. For example, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Scuba, Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Sam Paganini, and many more.
Lowlights?
It does take time for people to recognize such a big musical change as I’m going through now, so I’m still waiting for my booking situation to connect to the recognition my music now finds with the DJs, although it’s slowly picking up!
