Big Shot Guest Mix 313: Kohib

Kohib-DJ

Norwegian DJ/producer Kohib brings the heat on Big Shot Guest Mix 313. Having just released “Time For Cake” earlier in the month on SpinSpinNYC, he flaunts his mixing prowess on a session comprised of heavenly house tracks produced by his fellow countrymen. Trust us when we say it’s as tasty (and addictive) as Norwegian smoked salmon.

Inspired by Balearic disco to deep house and techno, Kohib, who has upcoming releases on various labels (“first some Afrobeat with Sveinbjörn from Iceland, then some techno with Kahuun from Bergen.”), took pride in representing Norway on his mix. “I wanted to put together a fruit basket of Norwegian tracks that might inspire you guys. When I see the tracklist, I happen to see that I’ve included some of my own remixes, and the new track on SpinSpinNYC; it just happened! The first track, ‘Song for Annie,’ is one of the reasons why I listen to a certain kinda music. Erot is not among us anymore, but his music will be here forever! Hope you enjoy this variety of Norwegian dogs!”
