How was 2019 for you? Mason: Manic, chaotic, over-the-top hysterical rollercoaster like Gotham City stuff.
Highlights?
Getting married on a small Greek island
Lowlights?
The Dutch pop chart comes to mind
Song of the year?
Theo Kottis – Turning Around

How was 2019 for you? Anifsa Letyago: It was just amazing. 2019 was the year of my first tour in SA. I had two EPs released on Intec Digital; a vinyl release of my remix of Phuture Track for DJ Pierre alongside other artists such as Carl Cox and Luciano; and a remix of “Confronted” on Second State for Pan-Pot. I’ve had so many good gigs around the world and more to come! I’m playing my first gig in the USA on December 27th at Lost Circus at Avant Gardner [in Brooklyn] New York and the 28th [at] Stereo [in] Montreal. I’ll be closing out the year at 2019 at Cosmo in Rome.
Hightlights?
In addition to all the highlights above, Carl Cox stated I am the breakthrough DJ/ producer of 2019. I will be performing at his resistance stage in Miami in his recent interview for DJ Mag alternative 100.
Lowlights?
Personally, I have not had any lowlights at all. However, I am worried for the negative things happening on our planet earth. Australia, plastic pollution, kids dying of diseases in Africa and people still dying of starvation – there’s so much negativity going on that you can never feel 100 percent happy or satisfied when you know other people are suffering and we are not doing much to help.
Song of the year?
Josh Wink – Higher State Of Consciousness (Adana Twins Remix)
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
I want to continue producing music, stay focused, always try to play good music, but most of all enjoy what I do, enjoy my music and be healthy and blessed – just like I feel today!
How was 2019 for you? Morgan Page: 2019 was a big one – raising my baby daughter, touring the world and finally checking out Ibiza!
Highlights?
Checking off Ibiza from my “must-see” list and exploring Mallorca, getting deep into wine, quality time with my daughter, and making music in the studio of course!
Lowlights?
Sleepless nights raising a baby (par for the course) but not many lowlights!
Song of the year?
That’s an easy one: “Piece of Your Heart” by Meduza. This crushes every other original this year.
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
Make more music, be the best dad possible, push my comfort zone.
How was 2019 for you? Kate Simko: 2019 was great. I hit my stride again after having a baby in late 2017, and I finally shipped all my records and books to London, so it really feels like home now.
Highlights?
Releasing an EP on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It, signing with a composer agency, and getting hired to score another L.A.-based feature film.
Lowlights?
Missing my son’s second birthday for a rescheduled show in New York! 😭
Song of the year?
Peggy Gou – Starry Night
