How was 2018 for you?
Simone Lanza: 2018 was a pretty intense year for me because I was able to make two of my biggest dreams come true: build my own studio and finish my first album.
I work a lot as a producer, from adverts to DJs, bands, etc. but when it’s about my own things the story is always different. It’s hard to be fully satisfied with my music but it’s been too long since my last release, so I plucked up my courage.
Highlights?
There are so many beautiful moments. Of course my debut album, but also the time I spent building my studio with my own hands. The work was long and arduous but now that it’s done I’m grateful for these days.
Lowlights?
It seems stupid but my summer holidays were a complete disaster. I broke up with a girl the day before leaving…
Song of the year?
Florence and The Machine – The End of Love. Few elements, perfectly balanced.
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
A private party with some good friends, no big clubbing (for that night).
