How was 2017 for you?
Simon Foran: It was a great year setting up Distrackt Records. With so much time going into setting it up meant I wasn’t in the studio as much as I would have liked to be. But some great times in the studio getting more hands on with hardware. Getting more familiar with the hardware has been so much fun
Highlights?
The launch of the label back in June was a special moment and a great achievement. Another big highlight was being the third release on the label with my Nihilus Ep in September. Having one of my tracks feature on Portuguese label Toxic Recordings Compilation with my “Craic of Detroit” track.
Lowlights?
Lack of time to be with friends and family. Trump still in power, plastic oceans, plastic/fake people, poverty in the world and everything else that creates negative energies which run the Earth.

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
More time in the studio, moving more to a live set with the hardware. Myself and Con (Distrackt Records) will be working in the studio on a project, so looking forward to what we create.
