Italian techno upstart Alex Mine continues his ascent to the upper strata of the global techno scene.
With over 100 releases to his credit, including dark, techy tracks issued on Carl Cox’s Intec and Dubfire’s SCI+TEC label, Mine never stops refining his razor-sharp sound on each outing to the delight of fans around the world.
Ahead of the release of his Lost EP out October 2 on Monika Kruse’s Terminal M, featuring his “Opus” collaboration with D-Deck and Alberto Ruiz’s remix of “Solar,” and “In A Time Lapse” due November 3 on SCI+TEC, Mine shares five fresh tracks that are currently rocking his dance floor.
Pig&Dan – Acid Bath
Pig&Dan are absolutely on my favorite producers list. Love their unstoppable groove and the harmonic part on this track seems like you’re entering a tunnel and you can’t exit.
Fur Coat – Interstellar
As musician and pianist, I really appreciated how they combined all the strings, synths and pads with a techno landscapes. This song get you the right mood with pure class.
Wigbert – Jam Mode
Wigbert is a producer who I always pay attention to when he releases new music. This track is amazing. When I play it, I can imagine him in front of his machines “jamming” and recording. So thanks for recording it mate. Very strong result!
Alex Mine – Elements
This track has been one of the highlights of my sets in 2016. I tried to mix minimal and techno together with a melody that it could be easily stored in mind from the very first listen. Always a big pleasure to see your tracks doing well on the dance floor.
Dubfire – Rejekt
Released in 2010, and still works great, this track has been my soundtrack in the very first part of my career. It’s one of the few tracks you can play from the first beat till the last. And it’s more than 10 minutes long!
