After presenting his stellar four-track Resurrection EP in May 2015 brandishing the tech-house monster “Product Of My Environment” featuring Cari Golden, Dimitri “Definition” Schneider returns with his Fear The Remixes EP boasting brilliant re-rubs by Ron Flatter and BLANCAh. How they were able to remodel an already perfect release is beyond us, but they did. We asked the Zürich-based Schneider, who has been running techno-house imprint Definition:Music which he launched with partner Def:Play in 2011, to talk about five fresh songs currently in his heavy rotation.
Definition – “Fear” (ReFeared Mix)
My original was out last year. This “ReFeared” and edited version comes along with hot remixes from Ron Flatter and BLANCAh.
Ryan Davis – “Zodiac”
I love the build-up here. It’s perfect to present to a packed club.
Audio Junkies feat. Haptic – “Vitamins”
When I first heard the track, I fell in love instantly. Melody, vocal, beat = so good.
Darius Syrossian – “Back To Truth” (Nick Curly Remix)
Nick delivered a super bomb remix for the current Definition release from Darius Syrossian.
Noir feat. J.U.D.G.E. – “Messiah”
J.U.D.G.E. has such an amazing voice, combined with a massive bassline track from Noir — it’s a dance floor weapon.
