Well, this sucks. Artist/producer Nosaj Thing (a.k.a. Jason Chung), who’s known for crafting tracks for Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, Busdriver and Nocando, is dealing with the worst case scenario for any touring musician: all of his gear was stolen from his touring van after a show last night at Fitzergald’s in Houston, TX.
Currently on the road with Clark, Chung took to his Facebook page early this morning in an effort to get the word out about his nicked equipment.
Please HELP …in Houston and our tour van got broken into…stole all our gear.
4 black backpacks with MacBook Pros, midi controllers, Lacie back up hard drives.
Hit me here if you hear anything. No questions asked.
In related Nosaj Thing news, last month he dropped “Cold Stares,” a hot collaboration with Chicago rap phenomenon Chance the Rapper and The O’My’s. The track sets the stage for his upcoming third album, Fated, out May 5, 2015 on Innovative Leisure.
Nosaj Thing is scheduled to play tonight at Club Dada in Dallas, TX. No word yet on whether the show will go on.
